I was born by the Mediterranean sea in the city of Malaga, Spain.

I started in ceramics as a result of the pandemic, my job for more than 12 years in the camera department in the film industry stopped, leaving me with free time to make my list of things "I want to try to do in my life". one of them was ceramic.

 

Very soon I felt at home with ceramics, even being 10,000 km from my family, the slow process made me reconnect with my authentic self. Ceramics was the only thing I wanted to do 24 hours a day.

when I have my hands in clay my whole body and mind connect very deeply with my ancient roots;

That is why my pieces have a taste of my land, a land surrounded by Roman and Arab ceramics, the salty Mediterranean, the sun, and the olive trees this is my Andalusian land.

The focus of my pieces is mainly functional, in contact and harmony with the elements, and inspired by my culture but with a different touch.

​

Today I have my little studio set up in my garage in Silver Lake CA and I try to combine my work on set with ceramics, attempting more and more to make Pottery my only income in life and transmit my love of ceramics to others.
